Titanium aura quartz is made in a unique fashion by heating titanium and other metal oxide molecules which fuse to crystal quartz in a vacuum chamber. This is a fascinating piece and a marvel of science and mineralogy. An excellent addition to any collection. The cube in the picture is one centimeter.
