Santa Catharina Meteorite // 5.43 Grams

This meteorite was acquired from the Bethany Sciences collection and comes in a display box with a Certificate of Authenticity.

From the 1875 find in Santa Catharina, Brazil, this iron meteorite is believed to have fallen approximately 70-110 million years ago and created a 12-kilometer crater. It is unusual for being exceptionally nickel- and troilite-rich and for being highly weathered.
