Rhodochrosite // Ver. 3

This gemmy pink rhodochrosite from the famous Catamarca mine in Argentina is extremely hard to come by. It has a lushly layered pink to red interior known as Ortiz. This lovely slice was cut out of a botryoidal piece of some of the highest grade rhodochrosite you can find and will make a great addition to any collection.
