Malachite Stalactite

This lovely matte green finger-like malachite stalactite was taken off of a formation of the copper carbonate mineral, which also grows in botryoidal masses. The base of this stalactite shows the beautiful tree-like emerald banding for which the crystal is notorious. A unique acquisition to add color and flavor to any serious collection.
