African T. Rex Tooth // 5-1/2" High

Carcharodontosaurus or the African T. Rex was a large carnivorous dinosaur similar to the T-Rex with a much larger skull, although it was actually more related to the Gigantosaurus. It may have reached up to 43 feet in length and weighed up to 7.5 tons. Its skull was up to six feet long with serrated teeth up to eight inches. This huge specimen was found in the Kem Kem beds in the Sahara Desert, Morocco. It dates back to the Cretaceous period (146-65 million years ago) and comes in a display box.
